Certified Orton Gillingham reading tutor

I am a licensed teacher trained in the Orton Gillingham approach to helping students with dyslexia and other reading challenges.

I obtained a master’s degree in education from Hamline University in St Paul and have worked as an elementary teacher primarily in the Bloomington and Shakopee school districts. In addition to being a classroom teacher, I have experience as a math and reading intervention teacher as well as with special education. I also have a background as a registered nurse.

I am committed to helping students gain confidence in reading, which leads to improved academic performance and a greater appreciation for reading.
